MIP Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Mobility Infrastructure Partners processes information submitted through this website and the Fleet EV Readiness Check pilot.

1. Information MIP may collect

MIP may collect business contact information such as your name, company, work email address, optional telephone number, enquiry details and information submitted through the Fleet EV Readiness Check.

2. Why the information is used

Information may be processed to provide the requested readiness screening, respond to enquiries, maintain a record of business interactions, improve the pilot tool and, where you separately opt in, contact you about relevant MIP advisory services.

3. Fleet readiness pilot data

The Fleet EV Readiness Check is designed as an indicative business screening tool. Please do not submit confidential operational data, employee or customer personal information, special personal information, passwords, commercially sensitive documents or information you are not authorised to provide.

4. Marketing consent

Consent to receive broader MIP marketing or advisory follow-up is optional and is separate from the processing required to provide a requested screening or respond to an enquiry.

5. Sharing and service providers

MIP may use website hosting, form-processing and other technology service providers to operate this website. Information should only be shared where reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, legal compliance or protection of legitimate rights.

6. Retention

MIP should retain submitted information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, legitimate business record-keeping and applicable legal obligations. Pilot retention practices should be reviewed as the product develops.

7. Security

MIP will take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the information and the scale of this pilot. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable South African law, you may ask MIP about personal information held about you and request appropriate correction or deletion where applicable.

9. Contact

For privacy-related queries, contact lebo@mobilityinfrastructurepartners.co.za.

This is a practical pilot privacy notice and should be aligned with MIP's formal Information Officer, retention, security and operator arrangements before larger-scale commercial deployment.
